If you want the drywall installers to cut the holes for the speakers, you must staple the Cardboard Drywall Locator Kits in place. The locators are stapled between the wall studs in the exact positions in which you want the speakers. They provide a pattern or cut-out for the drywall as well as a point to terminate the speaker wire.

Because many Drywall Hangers are not accustomed to cutting out for In-Wall Speakers it is advisable to discuss the process in advance to eliminate potential problems. A few moments spent with the supervisor beforehand will ensure smooth sailing.
