OEM Systems offers four (4) different Outdoor Rotary Volume Controls. Two of these controls are mounted in an all weather outdoor box, and the other two are surface mounted. There is an impedance matching version of each of these volume controls.

The AW-1 Box comes with a gray cover plate AW-PLT enclosure and allows for 3/4" rigid non-metallic conduit (Conduit is not included). The AW-1 Box is easy to mount and install. The box works great for most residential and commercial applications. The (2) volume controls that mount inside the AW-1 Box are the AW-100WV-B and the AW-IMP100WV-B (impedance matching). Both of these volume controls come with the AW-1 Box.

The non-impedance AW-100WV and the impedance matching AW-IMP100WV are designed to mount inside a wall and they both come with a gray cover plate, rotary knob and screws.

The AW-IMP100WV is an impedance matching volume control that is intended to compensate for the decreasing impedance associated with connecting multiple pairs of speakers to a single audio amplifier.  It does this by multiplying the impedance of the speakers to match their load to the amplifier
